The method

Why “7”?

The number isn't just a name. The 7 Academy is built around seven distinct components of player development — the framework behind every session, every drill, every moment on the pitch.

Seven components

The complete footballer

01

Situational Awareness

Scan before you receive. Knowing what's around you before the ball arrives is the difference between a player who creates time and one who loses it. We drill this from the very first session.

02

Decision Making

The right action, right now. We train players to read the game fast and commit without hesitation — in tight spaces, under pressure, with the clock against them.

03

Technical Execution

First touch. Pass weight. Finishing across the body. Decisions count for nothing if the execution isn't there. We work the technical foundation until it becomes reflex.

04

Game Intelligence

Understanding the picture beyond the ball. Positional awareness, pressure, shape, and space — the things that separate a clever player from an instinctive one.

05

Movement

Off-the-ball movement wins games. Creating angles, making third-man runs, finding pockets. We coach the movement that unlocks the player with the ball.

06

Attitude

The hardest thing to coach. The most important. We build a culture where competing hard, staying focused, and taking feedback are the baseline — not the exception.

07

Application

Everything put to use. Taking what has been trained and performing under pressure — in a game, when the moment counts. This is what every session builds towards.

Inside a session

Sixty minutes.
Seven stages.

Every session is deliberately structured — from opening the mind to full-intensity small-sided games. Nothing is filler.

  1. 01

    Player Warm-Up

    Dynamic movement prep and activation.

  2. 02

    Reaction & Tag Games

Speed of thought and alertness drills to open the mind.

  3. 03

    Cognitive Training

Scanning, recognition, and decision-making patterns under low pressure.

  4. 04

    Opposed Practices

1v1s and 2v2s — technique and decision-making under direct pressure.

  5. 05

    Overload Practices

2v1s and 3v2s — reading and exploiting numerical advantages.

  6. 06

    Unopposed Technical Work

Isolated repetitions to lock in the quality of the touch and finish.

  7. 07

    Small-Sided Games

Everything applied. Full intensity. Real decisions. Match scenarios.

The environment

Safe. Focused.
Purposeful.

“The environment is key to helping players achieve their potential.”

Small groups. High ratios. A genuinely inclusive, supportive culture. The pitch is all-weather indoor. The atmosphere is professional. The pressure is real, but the environment is safe.
